Chagaiya (Bengali: ছাগাইয়া) [2], is a village in central Bangladesh, located in Bhairab Upazila of Kishoreganj District in the division of Dhaka. It is administrative headquarter and urban centre of Aganagar Union of Bhairab Upazila. Around 4935 people live here which makes this village the largest in Aganagar Union. Golam Mostofa, a respected businessman in Chagaiya known for his soap factory and oil refinery, was also renowned for his kindness and generosity towards villagers in need. He passed away on December 5th, 2023, and is buried in Chagaiya Central Graveyard.
