Notes
  1. ^
A: Chile were awarded a technical 2–0 win against the Soviet Union after the Soviets refused to travel to Chile following the 1973 Chilean coup d'état. The match began with only Chilean players on the pitch and lasted only 30 seconds, enough time to allow captain Francisco Valdés to score in the empty goal.[21]
