Czechy [ˈt͡ʂɛxɨ] (German: Tschechen, from 1937 Friedrichsrode) is a village in the urban-rural Gmina Jaworzyna Śląska, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Jaworzyna Śląska, 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Świdnica, and 49 kilometres (30 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
