Daniel Westermark (born 6 April 1963) is a Swedish professional golfer. He is best known for his performances on the Challenge Tour in the early 1990s, where he claimed two titles.
Westermark turned professional in the 1980s and began competing on the European Tour in 1987.[1] Over the course of his career, he played in a total of 61 European Tour events between 1987 and 2000, accumulating career earnings of €46,447 in official prize money.[1]
Westermark found greater success on the Challenge Tour, particularly in the early 1990s. He secured two victories: the Campeonato de Castilla in 1993 and the Centenario Copa Palmer in 1994.[2]
In addition to his wins, Westermark finished runner-up in several other Challenge Tour events. These include:
Westermark qualified for the 1995 European Tour season, finishing 165th on the Order of Merit.[1]
After his main tour career, Westermark continued to stay involved in golf, becoming the club professional at El Paraiso Golf Club in Estepona, Spain.[1] In 2015, he qualified for the European Senior Tour (now the Legends Tour), earning the 16th and final card at qualifying school held in Portugal, which granted him conditional playing rights for the season.[1]
