The European Universities in Egypt (Arabic: الجامعات الأوروبية في مصر; Abbreviation: EUE) is a University Institution in the New Administrative Capital (Cairo Governorate). The institution was launched in accordance with Law No. 162/2018[1][2] on the Establishment and Organization of International Branch Campuses (IBCs) within The Arab Republic of Egypt and University Institutions,[3][4] the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Decree No. 4200/2018[5] and the President's Decree No. 86/2021.

The New Administrative Capital, the location of EUE, is part of a national agenda called Egypt Vision 2030 and includes a complete educational infrastructure, adding schools and new university institutions.

Founded by Mahmoud Hashem Abdel-Kader, EUE opened in fall 2021, with courses taught in English.

The university institution now hosts three prestigious British universities:

and therewith European studies and the respective European university degrees[7] with programmes at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels. Currently well established study programmes include Economics,[8] Management, Business, Finance, Politics[8] / Politics and International Relations,[9] Computer Sciences,[10] Psychology,[11] Laws,[12] and several fields of Engineering (also Aerospace Engineering), [13] as well as, more recently, architecture.[14] In 2024[15][16]) UEL Branch was established, providing additional opportunities for studies on the EUE Campus [e.g., in Marketing and HR Management, Fine Arts, Design (Fashion, Graphics), Sports Therapy and Animation, as well as Physiotherapy[17]].

EUE is a 'recognised teaching centre' of UoL and has become an Affiliate of the European University Association (EUA) in 2022.[18]
