Geneva is an unincorporated community in Noble Township, Shelby County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[1]
Geneva was platted in 1853.[3] The community took its name after Geneva, in Switzerland.[4] An old variant name of the community was called Sulphur Hill.[5]
A post office was established under the name Sulphur Hill in 1836, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1904. [6]
Geneva is located about 7 miles south west of St Paul, on East Vandalia Road.
The United States Census Bureau first delineated Geneva as a census designated place in the 2022 American Community Survey.[7]
