HC Tilburg is a field hockey club from Tilburg, Netherlands. It resulted from a merger between the former clubs TMHC Tilburg (1925) and TMHC Forward (1930) on July 6, 2011. With 2447 members (as of 31-10-2015), HC Tilburg became the second largest field hockey club in the Netherlands.[2]
A seventh field was constructed in the summer of 2013. With the completion of the new clubhouse construction in 2014, all the work of the merger process was completed [3]. Starting with the 2012-2013 season, the teams play their matches in the new jersey. This jersey consists of a white shirt with argentina blue stripes on the sleeves, dark blue pants/skirt and white socks.
Since the merger, the first women's team has been playing in the Promotion Class. On May 29, 2013, the club's first Men's team promoted to the big league by beating SCHC in the decisive playoff match.
