Hamre Township is a township in Beltrami County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 15 as of the 2000 census.[3] A large share of the early settlers being natives of Hamre, Norway, caused the name to be selected.[4]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.9 square miles (93 km2), of which 35.9 square miles (93 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (0.06%) is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 15 people, 9 households, and 3 families residing in the township. The population density was 0.4 inhabitants per square mile (0.15/km2).
