Harasam Rural District (Persian: دهستان هرسم) is in Homeyl District of Eslamabad-e Gharb County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Qaleh-ye Harasam.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,132 in 1,840 households.[5] There were 7,622 inhabitants in 1,983 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,767 in 1,697 households. The most populous of its 24 villages was Kandeh-ye Har, with 1,089 people.[2]
