History
[edit]Jackson Township was organized in 1830.[5]
The Smith Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[6]
Geography
[edit]According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 22.6 square miles (59 km2), all land.[7]
