Jonas Billstein (born July 8, 1991) is a German mixed martial artist who competes as a middleweight fighter.

Mixed martial arts career[edit]

Early career[edit]

Billstein started his career at 18 years old in 2009. He fought mainly for organizations within his home country, achieving a record of 9–1 and losing only once against Attila Vegh. Most of his fights ended by knockout in the first round.

In 2011, Billstein was contracted by Bellator.[1]

Bellator Fighting Championships[edit]

Billstein made his debut on November 19, 2011 at Bellator 58 against Herbert Goodman. Billstein lost by disqualification after kicking his opponent's face while he was on the ground.[2]

Billstein faced Mike Seal on May 25, 2012 at Bellator 70. He won the bout via technical submission in the first round.[3]

Billstein faced Perry Filkins on November 16, 2012 at Bellator 81. He lost the bout via unanimous decision.[4]

Billstein next faced Cortez Coleman on November 8, 2013 at Bellator 107.[5] He won the fight via unanimous decision.
