Kigoma is an administrative ward in Kigoma-Ujiji District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 4 km2 (1.5 sq mi),[2] and has an average elevation of 789 m (2,589 ft).[3] In 2016 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were 7,604 people in the ward, from 6,908 in 2012.[1]: 123 [4]: 150
