Kim Yu-song (Korean: 김유성; born 18 July 2003) is a North Korean professional footballer who plays as a center back for DPR Korea Premier Football League club Amnokgang and the North Korea national football team.[1]
Kim was called up to the 2022 Asian Games[2]. On 24 September 2023, he scored his first goal of the campaign against Indonesia after stabbing in a header from Jang Kuk-chol.[3]
Kim, and the entire under-23 squad at the 2022 Asian Games, was subject to controversy after their quarter-final defeat to Japan. During the 72nd minute, Kim threatened to punch Japan's physio after taking water from the Japanese. He was booked for his actions.[4]
