Kocaeli Health and Technology University (Turkish: Kocaeli Sağlık ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi) is a private university located in Kocaeli, Turkey. Kocaeli Health and Technology University was founded in 17 April 2020 with the aim of contributing to Turkey’s higher education system, particularly in medical sciences and technology.[1]
It was founded in 2009 in Istanbul (İstanbul) as the European Vocational School (Avrupa Meslek Yüksekokulu) by the European Education Foundation (Avrupa Eğitim Vakfı) with the approval of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi). In 2020, it changed its name, relocated to Kocaeli (Kocaeli), and began offering associate degree (önlisans) programs alongside bachelor’s degree (lisans) and master’s degree (yüksek lisans) education. The language of instruction is Turkish (Türkçe) and English (İngilizce). KOSTÜ has collaborations with many international universities, primarily Kent State University (Kent State Üniversitesi) in the United States.[2]
