At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Jazmurian District of Rudbar-e Jonubi County) was 4,435 in 960 households.[5] There were 5,084 inhabitants in 1,325 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,390 in 1,484 households.
