Lady Lee (Korean: 씨이 or 레이디 리; Hanja: 李夫人; 1811 - 1897), was a Mangyongdae farmer who was the Wife of Kim-Ung-U and mother of Kim Bo-hyon. Lady
Lee would become the Great Grandmother of Kim Il Seung, Founder of North Korea, Great-Great Grandmother of Kim Jong Il, and Great-Great-Great Grandmother of Kim Jong un, current leader of the Democratic Republic of North Korea.
Lady Lee would be born in Mangyongdae, Pyongyang in the year 1811, years later she would marry Kim Ung-U and with him birth one child Kim Bo-hyon. Lee would die in 1897. Lady Lee's true name is unknown, her name comes from the knowledge that Kim Ung-U married a woman from the Ri (리, 李).[1]
