Levi (given name)

Levi is a masculine given name of Hebrew origin. It is the name of the biblical figure Levi (Hebrew: לֵוִי, Levī‎), son of Jacob and founder of the Israelite tribe of Levi. The name is derived from the Hebrew verb לוה ("Lava"), meaning "to join" or "connect".^[1]
