List of NJ Transit bus routes (100–199)

#7103 on 139 express line via Route 9 in Old Bridge

New Jersey Transit operates over seventy interstate bus routes mostly in northern New Jersey running to multiple destinations in New York City. Most routes go to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (PABT) in Midtown Manhattan; the remainder go to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal (GWB Bus Terminal) in Washington Heights or run in the streets of Lower Manhattan.

Below is a complete list of these routes sorted by region and by number, followed by brief descriptions of major points along the route (e.g. streets, major destinations), specific details on its operation (e.g. express services, short turns, hours of operation), the history of the route, and the storage and maintenance facilities where the route is based. All routes are currently operated by New Jersey Transit Bus Operations. Routes indicated as running during rush hour run to New York during AM rush and to New Jersey during PM rush, unless otherwise noted. Some of the routes to the Port Authority Bus Terminal also stop on 30th and 31st Streets in Union City to connect to local bus routes in Hudson County. Where this applies to cases where Union City is not served by the route in any other way, it is indicated by "Serves Union City".
