National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) is an American professional wrestling promotion operating via its parent company Lightning One, Inc.[1] Title reigns are either determined by professional wrestling matches or are awarded to a wrestler, as a result of the culmination of various scripted storylines,[2] following is correct as of October 5, 2024.

The promotion currently has nine championships - four men's singles titles, two men's tag team championships, two women's singles titles and a women's tag team championship. The list includes the number of times the wrestler has held the title, the date and location of the win, and a description of the winning bout.

At the top of the National Wrestling Alliance's championship hierarchy is the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship. The championship is currently held by first time champion EC3, who defeated previous champion Tyrus on August 27, 2023, on Night Two of the NWA 75.

The secondary title is the NWA National Championship. The championship is currently held by "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason, who won the vacant title on August 26, 2023 on Night One of the NWA 75 by defeating JR Kratos and Odinson in a triple threat match.

On May 10, 2024, NWA President Billy Corgan announced that the NWA will reactivate the Mid-America Heavyweight Championship and a new champion will be crowned at their "Back to the Territories" event on June 1, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee.[3]

The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship is for wrestlers 220 lbs. and under. Colby Corino is the current champion in his first reign. He defeated Kerry Morton on August 26, 2023, on Night One of the NWA 75.

The NWA World Tag Team Championship is held by first-time champions Blunt Force Trauma (Carnage and Damage). They defeated La Rebelión (Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf 450) on Night One of the NWA 75 on August 26, 2023.

The NWA United States Tag Team Championship is currently vacant, after previous champions The Immortals (JR Kratos and Odinson) relinquished the titles in order to challenge for the NWA World Tag Team Championship at Hard Times 4.

Women

[edit]

The top singles championship specifically contested for female wrestlers is the NWA World Women's Championship, which is currently held by Kenzie Paige, who defeated Kamille on August 27, 2023, at the NWA 75.

The NWA World Television Championship is an open championship available to both men and women due to it being unified with the NWA World Women's Television Championship.
