Madereros de Durango were a Mexican professional basketball team based in Durango, Durango. The Madereros competed in the Circuito de Basquetbol del Noreste (CIBANE) from 2010 to 2013, winning the league title in 2011. They played their home games in the Auditorio del Pueblo.

The team successfully developed local talent such as Irwin Ávalos.[1]

Franchise history[edit]

The team was announced in May 2010 as a charter member of the Circuito de Basquetbol del Noreste (CIBANE), with the Auditorio del Pueblo as their home gym.[2] The Madederos played their first game a month later, defeating future rivals Mineros de Fresnillo at home on 5 June.[1] They finished in second place during the regular season, but lost in the finals series against Mineros de Fresnillo.[3]

After finishing in first place during the 2011 regular season,[3] the team defeated Mineros de Fresnillo in the finals for their first league title.[4]
