The Mamba South gas field is a natural gas field located offshore the Cabo Delgado Province of Mozambique in Offshore Area 4. Discovered in October 2011 by Italian company Eni, it is one of the largest natural gas fields in the world, with estimated reserves of up to 15 trillion ft3 (424.75 km3), equivalent to 2 bboe.[1][2][3]
