Mikael "Micha" Kaufman (מיכה קאופמן; born January 3, 1946) is a businessperson and entrepreneur of Israeli descent. He is the founder and CEO of Fiverr. Kaufman was also an Israeli former Olympic sport shooter.[1]

Early Life

Kaufman attended Haifa University in Israel.[2]

Kaufman competed for Israel at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada, at the age of 30, in mixed 50-metre rifle prone, and came in tied for 12th.[1] He also competed in mixed 50-metre rifle three positions, and came in tied for 51st.[1]

Career

In 2003, Kaufman founded Keynesis, a security software company.[2] He founded Spotback in 2005, a personalized news site that was an early adopter of computer learning.[2][3]

In 2010, Kaufman founded Fiverr, an Israeli multinational online marketplace for freelance services.[4][5] The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2019.[6] He is currently the chief executive officer.[7][8][9]
