Miriam Gutiérrez Parra (born 21 February 1983) is a Spanish former professional boxer who held the WBA interim female lightweight World title and the European female lightweight title.
Gutiérrez made her professional debut on 31 March 2017, scoring a five-round unanimous decision victory over Vanesa Caballero at the Casino Gran Madrid in Torrelodones, Spain.[3]
She won the vacant European female lightweight title on 22 March 2019, defeating Sam Smith by unanimous decision at the same venue in which she had made her debut.[4]
Gutiérrez claimed the vacant WBA interim female lightweight World title with a unanimous decision victory over Keren Batiz on 29 November 2019. Once again the bout took place at Casino Gran Madrid in Torrelodones.[5]
In her next fight, Gutiérrez challenged undisputed lightweight World champion Katie Taylor at Wembley Arena in London, England, on 14 November 2020. She was knocked down in the fourth-round but managed to go the distance ultimately losing by unanimous decision.[6]
Gutiérrez retired from professional boxing in May 2023.[7]
