The Mirrabooka Sovereign United Nations, initially known as Meanjin Senior Sovereigns, was formed in November 2017. The group represents Indigenous Peoples from various cultural backgrounds, including the Bidjigal Sovereign Elders of La Perouse, as well as the Bidjigal, Darug, Gweagal, and Woolangang [eoples.
