Molly Ama Montgomery (born 4 October 2001) is a Ghanaian-American singer and songwriter.[1] She rose to stardom after being featured on Amaarae 2020 single "Sad Gurlz Luv Money" (remix with Kali Uchis), which debuted at number 80 on the US Billboard Hot 100[2] and peaked at number 29 in the United Kingdom.[3]

Originally from Accra, Ghana, Moliy was brought up in Accra and Florida.[4]

In 2020, Moliy released her debut EP Wondergirl which cut across the shores of Ghana to gain airplay in The Gambia and Nigeria as well as Kenya.[5]

In 2024, Moliy released a single called "Shake It To The Max (FLY)" with the Jamaican-born producer Adam Alexander, who records under the name Silent Addy.[6] The record became viral trend on TikTok, and charted in the United Kingdom at number 70 on the chart of 4 April 2025, making it her second hit single.[7][8]
