On December 20, 2023, it was reported that Warner Bros. Discovery began talks to merge with Paramount Global, with the first meeting held at the latter's headquarters in Times Square that day. It was stated that the talks were preliminary and may not result in a deal, meaning that the two companies' spokespeople declined to comment.^[1]
