Psychic Fever from Exile Tribe (Japanese: サイキック・フィーバー・フロム・エグザイル・トライブ, stylized as PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE) is a Japanese boy band. The group is part of the collective Exile Tribe, managed by LDH. They released their debut EP P.C.F in July 2022.[3]
PSYCHIC FEVER has aimed from the beginning to become artists who can succeed not only in Japan but also internationally.[4] Their breakout track "Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY" helped the group gain widespread recognition.[5] With a strong focus on global expansion, they have actively performed overseas and at international festivals, extending their activities across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.[6][7][8]
In 2025, it was announced that they had signed a global record deal with Warner Music Group and would be moving to its music label, 10K Projects, further accelerating their global expansion.[9]
Their official fan name is "ForEVER" which was officially announced during a livestream event held on June 13, 2023.[10][11]
On July 4, the group made their debut appearance at BATTLE OF TOKYO , held at Makuhari Messe.[12]
From October 5 to December 8, they conducted a "training journey" across all 47 prefectures in Japan, drawing approximately 40,000 attendees.[13] Subsequently, they gained experience by performing as support members in over 100 stages for other LDH artists.[14]
On May 31, member HANATAROU decided to leave the group.[15]
In July, they performed their first pre-debut song, "Hotline," as the opening act for Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS LIVE TOUR 2021 "THIS IS JSB." From that month through the following March, they launched a pre-debut release project with consecutive original songs—"Hotline," “Best For You," “Tokyo Spiral," and "Snow Candy"—on YouTube.[13] From July 18 to September 5, they held Musha Shugyo on TikTok, LDH's first-ever online training event, which recorded approximately 300,000 views across six performances.[16]
From February, they joined ØMI LIVE TOUR 2022 “ANSER…” as the opening act under the title “PSYCHIC FEVER OPENING LIVE.” [13]
On April 18, member SAM decided to leave the group.[17]
On May 9, their major debut was announced via the group's official YouTube channel. It was also revealed that on their debut date, their name would change to "PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE."[18] On May 11, they participated in a press conference where the partnership between LDH JAPAN and HIGH CLOUD ENTERTAINMENT was announced. It was also revealed that they would embark on a six-month training journey in Thailand starting in August.[19]
On July 13, they made their major debut with the album P.C.F and officially changed the group name.[18]
From August to January 2023, they relocated their base to Thailand. During this time, they were produced by F.HERO, a leading Thai rapper and founder of High Cloud Entertainment.[19] On August 24, they released "Choose One (Remix) feat. ELIONE, Billy Laurent, REO."[20]
On October 15–16, they performed at OCTOPOP 2022, one of Thailand's largest music festivals.[21] On December 10–11, they appeared at BIG MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL 12, Southeast Asia's largest outdoor music festival.[22]On December 17, the collaboration track "To The Top feat. DVI" was performed for the first time with Thai six-member boy group DVI at Bangkok's largest music festival SIAM MUSIC FEST 2022. The track attracted attention as it trended on X in Thailand and Japan at the same time.[23]
On January 10, they released the digital single "RICH & BAD."[24]
From February 3 to 5, they appeared at JAPAN EXPO THAILAND 2023.[25] On February 5, they released "To The Top feat. DVI," their first collaboration with a Thai artist. They also held their first solo live in Thailand at CentralWorld on the same day. Conceived by F.HERO, this song marked a collaboration with DVI, a six-member dance vocal group from Thailand.[26] On the same day, they held their first solo live performance at a hall in "CentralWorld," Thailand's largest commercial complex.[27]
On March 5, they released the fan song "ForEVER," with lyrics co-written by the members.[28]
On May 17, they released their first EP, Psychic File I, which reached No. 3 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.[29]
In June, they held their first solo tour, PSYCHIC FEVER LIVE TOUR 2023 "P.C.F," visiting Zepp venues in Osaka (beginning June 13), Nagoya, Tokyo, and Fukuoka.[30]
From August 18 to 20, they made their debut appearance at JAPAN EXPO MALAYSIA 2023.[31] On August 26–27, they appeared at ASIAN SOUND SYNDICATE Vol.2 in Jakarta.[32]
On September 12, they released "FIRE feat. SPRITE," a collaboration with the young Thai rapper SPRITE. It ranked No. 2 on the "T-POP Weekly Chart" of the music program "T-POP STAGE SHOW presented by PEPSI" by the Thai television station Workpoint23.[33][34]
On October 21 and 22, they made their second appearance at the Thai music festival "OCTOPOP 2023," following their performance in 2022. They premiered their new song "Temperature (Prod. JP THE WAVY)."[35] On October 23, they released "Temperature (Prod. JP THE WAVY)," their first track produced by JP THE WAVY.[36]
On November 18–19, they appeared at the 13th Jakarta Japan Festival (JJM2023).[37]
On December 17, they performed at SIAM MUSIC FEST 2023 in Bangkok.[38] On December 21, they released the collaboration song "SPICE feat. F.HERO & BEAR KNUCKLE" with F.HERO and the Thai hip-hop dance group Bear Knuckle.[39] On December 22, they made their debut performance in Vietnam at HOZO Super Fes 2023.[40] On December 24, they held their first overseas solo concert PSYCHIC FEVER LIVE 2023 "P.C.F" in THAILAND.[41] On December 31, they appeared at the centralwOrld Bangkok Countdown 2024.[42][43]
On January 19, the digital EP 99.9 Psychic Radio, produced by JP THE WAVY, was released. The lead track "Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY" charted in the top 50 of Spotify's viral charts in 9 Asian countries, including Japan, and has over 200 million views on TikTok.[44] On January 27, they performed at MUUJI FESTIVAL 2024 in Thailand.[45]
On April 3, they released their second EP, PSYCHIC FILE II, which ranked No. 2 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.[46] On April 15, they performed at RANGNAM WATER STREET BY SUPERFLUID in Thailand.[47] On April 19, they appeared at FWD Music Live Fest 3 at CentralWorld.[48]
On May 2, the group's first variety TV show PSY PSY! PSYCHIC FEVER (Nippon TV, 5 episodes) began airing. They filmed on location in Thailand, a place they have become familiar with through their overseas activities, and each member introduced "charms of Thailand they want to share with Japan."[49][50] On May 10, they made their debut performance at Music Matters Live 2024, considered one of the world's top three music trade shows, and performed for the first time in Singapore.[51][52] On May 17, they made their debut on YouTube's THE FIRST TAKE, performing "Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY."[53]
On June 14, they made their first appearance on TV Asahi's Music Station.[54] On June 28, JIMMY and WEESA released their first unit song, "Perfect feat. JIMMY & WEESA."[55]
From July 11 to 14, they performed at Japan Expo Paris 2024. This was the first time for the group to perform in France.[56] On July 18, they released "Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY – From THE FIRST TAKE."[44]
On August 24, they appeared at SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2024.[57]
From September to October, they held the PSYCHIC FEVER ASIA TOUR 2024 "HEAT", performing in Chiang Mai, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok.[58]
In October, KOKORO KOHATSU appeared as an actor in the Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV Platinum Night Thursday drama "Octo: Emotion Investigator Shinno Akari Season 2." The group also provided the song "Cold Rain" as the opening theme for the same drama.[59]
On November 4, they released "TALK TO ME NICE feat. TAMP," featuring the young Thai artist TAMP.[60] On November 21, they released "Cold Rain."[61] On December 6, they released "SH♡TGUN feat. JIMMY, WEESA, ぺろぺろきゃんでー."[62]
On January 9, they released "Paradise," the theme song for PSYCHIC FEVER FIRST U.S. TOUR 2025 scheduled for February.[63] On January 30, they released "What’s Happenin’," produced by JP THE WAVY.[64]
From February 2 to 14, they held their first U.S. tour, the PSYCHIC FEVER FIRST U.S. TOUR 2025. Starting in Washington D.C. on the 2nd, the tour took place in six cities: New York, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, and Los Angeles. The final performance in Los Angeles was held at the Saban Theatre, a National Historic Landmark registered in 2012. John Fossitt, who served as the music director for the tour and is the lead keyboardist for Bruno Mars' band "The Hooligans," made a special appearance.[65] On February 13, they visited Warner Music Group's LA office and held a showcase performing "Just Like Dat," “Paradise," and "What’s Happenin’."[66] On February 14, they released "Wonder Woman". This song was chosen as the opening song for the Tokai TV/Fuji TV nationwide Saturday drama Saikou no Obahan Nakajima Haruko Madam in Chokotto Dake Bangkok.[67] On February 15, they signed a global label deal with Warner Music Group, in partnership with 10K Projects, transferring from LDH Records.[68]
On March 13–14, they performed at the world's largest fusion business conference and festival, SXSW 2025, held in Austin, Texas. They performed on the "GREATER TEAM DAY STAGE" on March 13 (local time) and headlined the "Friends From The East Showcase" project within the same event on March 14 (local time).[69]
