Słobódka ([swɔˈbutka]; Lithuanian: Slabada[2]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.[3] It lies approximately 3 km (2 mi) north-east of Szypliszki, 24 km (15 mi) north-east of Suwałki, and 128 km (80 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
According to the 1921 census, the village had a population of 137, entirely Polish by nationality and Roman Catholic by confession.[4]
