Shoal Point is a coastal suburb in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Shoal Point had a population of 1,104 people.[1]
Shoal Point is a headland at the north-east of the locality (21°00′03″S 149°09′28″E / 21.0009°S 149.1577°E).[3][4]
The waters and inlets of the Coral Sea form the eastern and northern boundaries, and most of the western.[5]
In the 2016 census, Shoal Point had a population of 977 people.[6]
