Shura (Japanese: 修羅, Hepburn: Shūra), known in English as Demons or Pandemonium is a 1971 folk horror period piece by Japanese director Toshio Matsumoto. Starring Katsuo Nakamura and Yasuko Sanjo, the film follows a disgraced samurai married to a geisha, who embarks on a violent quest of revenge upon discovering a plot by his wife and her secret lover to rob him.
