Sparta Township is one of fourteen townships in Dearborn County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 2,894 and it contained 1,144 housing units.[4]

[edit]According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 29.46 square miles (76.3 km2), of which 29.44 square miles (76.2 km2) (or 99.93%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.07%) is water.[4]
