Sugar Creek Township is one of thirteen townships in Parke County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 308 and it contained 139 housing units.[2] The township includes the north half of Turkey Run State Park.

Sugar Creek Township was established in 1855.[4]
The Lancelot C. Ewbank House, Richard Lieber Log Cabin, Lusk Home and Mill Site, Narrows Covered Bridge, and Wilkins Mill Covered Bridge are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[5]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 24.91 square miles (64.5 km2), of which 24.89 square miles (64.5 km2) (or 99.92%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.08%) is water.[6]
