Sunil Kalda[1] (born July 1, 1958) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.[2] He is an Indian Plastic Surgeon known for Burn Care and Plastic Surgery.[3][2][4][5][6]

Early Life and Education[edit]

Dr. Kalda was born in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He underwent training in Plastic Surgery in Delhi, completing his MCh and DNB in Plastic Surgery from Safdarjung.[7]

Recognitions and Awards[edit]

  • 'Dr. B C Roy Award' by the Indian Medical Association for social activities and valuable contributions to the medical fraternity.[8]
  • Shaheed Vir Narayan Singh Samman (2010) by the Chhattisgarh government for noble work and free operations in Tribal and LWE Areas.
  • Recognized by the Golden Book of World Records (2017) for performing the "most cleft lip and palate surgeries" (24,509).
  • Chairman of the Indian Podiatry Association (IPA) Chhattisgarh Chapter in recognition of tireless contributions to IPA.[9]
