Taylor Swift singles discographyAs lead artist 61 As featured artist 8 Promotional singles 39
Taylor Swift has released 61 singles as lead artist, 8 singles as a featured artist, and 39 promotional singles . She had sold over 150 million singles worldwide by December 2016.[ 1] According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Swift's digital singles have achieved 137.5 million certified units, based on sales and on-demand streaming , as of July 2023[update] .[ 2] On the US Billboard Hot 100 , as of April 2024[update] , Swift has garnered 12 number-one songs[ 3] and is the female musician with the most charted songs (263), most top-40 songs (164), most top-20 songs (100), most top-10 songs (59), most top-10 debuts (48), most top-five songs (36), and most number-one debuts (7).[ 4]
The lead single from Swift's 2006 self-titled debut album , "Tim McGraw ", was her first Billboard Hot 100 chart entry.[ 5] Her second studio album, Fearless (2008), spawned two international top-10 singles—"Love Story " (her first number one in Australia) and "You Belong with Me ".[ 6] Her third studio album, Speak Now , included the US top-10 singles "Mine " and "Back to December ". Swift's next albums—Red (2012), 1989 (2014), Reputation (2017)—spawned a series of number-one singles: "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together " (her first Billboard Hot 100 number one), "Shake It Off ", "Blank Space ", "Bad Blood ", and "Look What You Made Me Do " (her first number one in Ireland and the United Kingdom).[ 5] [ 7] [ 8] The albums also contained other top-ten singles: "I Knew You Were Trouble ", "Style ", "Wildest Dreams ", and "...Ready for It? ".[ 3] [ 9]
Swift's seventh studio album, Lover (2019), was supported by the Billboard Hot 100 top-10 singles "Me! ", "You Need to Calm Down ", and "Lover ", as well as the number-one single "Cruel Summer ".[ 10] With her eighth studio album, Folklore (2020), and its lead single, "Cardigan ", Swift became the first artist to debut atop both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 in the same week;[ 11] she achieved this feat five more times with "Willow " from Evermore (2020), "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) "—the longest song in duration to reach number one[ 12] —from Red (Taylor's Version) (2021), "Anti-Hero " from Midnights (2022), "Is It Over Now? " from 1989 (Taylor's Version) (2023), and "Fortnight " from The Tortured Poets Department (2024).[ 13] [ 14] Swift became the first artist to monopolize the entire top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with Midnights [ 15] and the first to monopolize the top 14 with The Tortured Poets Department .[ 14] Red (Taylor's Version) had 26 tracks chart within the Billboard Hot 100 the same week, setting the record for the most simultaneous entries by a woman,[ 16] which was broken by The Tortured Poets Department , with 31 tracks.[ 17]
Besides material for her albums, Swift has recorded songs for film soundtracks including her first number-one Canadian single "Today Was a Fairytale " for Valentine's Day (2010),[ 9] the Billboard Hot 100 top-30 entries "Safe & Sound " featuring the Civil Wars and "Eyes Open " for The Hunger Games (2012),[ 18] and the international top-five single "I Don't Wanna Live Forever " with Zayn for Fifty Shades Darker (2017).
