The Campus Market was an online marketplace that was exclusive to college students. The purpose of The Campus Market was to give students the ability to sell or procure items with other students at their colleges/universities. The Campus Market focused on the promotion of sustainable reuse within campus communities. The Campus Market was launched on January 1, 2015.[1] The official website required an .edu e-mail address to sign up.[2] By 2019, the website was completely defunct.
The company was founded by Brad Stinson in January of 2015. He launched the company initially to serve Duke University.
In its first year, the company grew to serve 22 colleges on the East Coast, with over 18,000 student members.
