Trống

Trống (Vietnamese: trống), refers to a number of different musical instruments in Vietnamese.

Trống may refer to:

• Trống cái, this type of trống has a cylindrical shape with both sides covered with buffalo or cow skin with a diameter of 50, 60 cm or more.
• Trống chầu, this type of trống has two circular drum faces with equal diameters of about 15 cm.
• Trống cơm, this type of trống has 2 equal circular sides, about 15 - 17 cm in diameter.
• Dong Son drum, a type of trống made of bronze - a typical musical instrument of Đông Sơn culture.
