Vartun (Persian: ورطون)[a] is a village in Sistan Rural District of Sistan District, Kuhpayeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 477 in 123 households, when it was in the former Kuhpayeh District of Isfahan County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 479 people in 153 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 576 people in 187 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
In 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhpayeh County. The rural district was transferred to the new Sistan District.[6]
