Vitex divaricata is a tree shrub of the Caribbean native to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.^[2] Its Spanish vernacular names include higüerillo^[3] and higuerillo.^[2] Its English vernacular name is white fiddlewood.^[4] It belongs to the order Lamiales.^[2]^[1]^[5]^[6] This tree is common in the Toro Negro State Forest.^[3]
