Wendel Alex dos Santos, or simply Wendel, is a Brazilian attacking midfielder who plays for Comercial Futebol Clube.
Career
[edit]Wendel is an attacking midfielder who came up through the youth ranks at Atlético Mineiro. A constant presence on the call-up lists for youth selections at both the junior and senior levels, he was responsible for scoring the title-clinching goal for Atlético in the 2009 Copa BH, defeating Internacional 1-0. Wendel made his professional debut for Atlético the following year on 3 June in a Série A match.
