At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 707 in 233 households, when it was in Qaen County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,419 people in 285 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,118 people in 290 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Zirkuh County.[8]
