He is known for his personal frame drum technique, which combines several different styles. He is a member of the jazz trio MOŻDŻER DANIELSSON FRESCO, together with Polish pianist Leszek Możdżer and Swedish double bass player Lars Danielsson.[2] Previously, he was a member of the Israeli world music band Bustan Abraham, which existed between 1991 and 2003.[3]
He has played with musicians including jazz drummer Hamid Drake,[4] violinist Taiseer Elias,[5] saxophonist Daniel Zamir[6] and oud player Ara Dinkjian.[7] He has toured with American composer Philip Glass.[8]
