Abaarso Tech University is a private university located in Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland. The institution was founded in 2010. Providing higher education in the country and with a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields.
The institution was founded in 2010 by Dr. Ahmed Ese. Since its establishment, the university has collaborated with many academic and international partners in different capacities, including SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture)[1], The Royal Danish Academy of Arts (KADK), the School of Architecture, Design, and Conservation, and Copenhagen University, and other local universities in the Horn of Africa[2].
The current president of the University is Dr. Ahmed Ese, who holds a Ph.D. in Medicine from the International Islamic University in Djibouti.
Mr. Ahmed Bashe is Deputy President and Academic Director of the University. He is responsible for the overall supervision of the Students, Teachers and Curriculum Setting.
