From Wikitia - Reading time: 1 min

An advertising agency, sometimes known as a creative agency or an ad agency, is a kind of company that specialises in the production, planning, and management of various types of advertising, as well as other forms of promotion and marketing, on behalf of its clientele. In most cases, the customer does not have any influence or control over the advertising agency. An advertising agency may be an internal department or agency that contributes an objective viewpoint to the process of marketing the client's goods or services, or it may be an independent organisation. In addition, an agency may manage comprehensive marketing and branding strategies and promotions for its clients, which may include involve sales.

Clients of advertising firms often consist of companies and corporations, organisations that are not-for-profit, and private agencies. As part of an advertising campaign, an agency may be employed to generate television ads, radio advertisements, web advertisements, out-of-home advertisements, mobile marketing, and augmented reality advertisements, among other types of advertisements.
