Agariya is a small village of 1050 hectares in Amet Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Agariya depends on AMET, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 42.12% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Agariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of AMET and Rajsamand to sell marbale tiles and make their living.
