Alloma is an extinct genus of sea sponge from the Emiratiidae. Fossils from this genus date to the Cretaceous (Albian-Cenomanian) of Folkestone, England (Copt Point?) and Charente-Maritime, France. Since it was never formally described in a peer-reviewed journal, the genus is considered a nomen nudum. The intended type species is "Alloma rhodani".
Fossil remains of this animal mostly include disarticulated spines, but complete specimens are known.[1] Specimen size averages at around 16 millimetres (0.63 in) long at most.[2]
