Amargarh is a small village of 756 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Amargarh depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 8.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Amargarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Amargarh's pin code is 305202[4], and village code is 02514200. The area of Amargarh is segregated as 162.15 hectares irrigated area, 329.13 hectares unirrigated, the 233.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Amargarh has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Amargarh is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1445 and has total administration over 301 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Amargarh has 269 children, 147 boys and 122 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 136 (9.41%) males constitute 67 (4.64%) of the population and females 69 (4.78%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
