Amargarh is a small village of 2635 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Amargarh depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 113.82% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Amargarh is also surrounded by Two lakes.
