Anjana is a small village of 1173 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Anjana depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Anjana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Anjana's pin code is 327032[4], and village code is 03419100. The area of Anjana is segregated as 365 hectares irrigated area, 322 hectares unirrigated, the 266 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 220 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
