Anna Ballantine is a South African actress.
She stars as Camille Maes in the upcoming World War I film The Last Front, alongside Iain Glen and Sasha Luss.[1]
Ballantine grew up in South Africa, before moving to England to pursue acting. She attended Identity School of Acting.
Ballantine is a former competitive figure skater, who competed at multiple South African Figure Skating Championships, placing third at the 2010 South African Figure Skating Championships. She also went on to represent South Africa internationally in figure skating.[2]
Ballantine appeared in a leading role alongside Evanna Lynch in You Eat Other Animals, a short comedy about two aliens that was released on World Vegan Day in 2021.[3][4]
In 2021, she had a starring role in short film Leader, directed by Oscar-winning Chris Overton, which ended up winning multiple awards including Best Mobile Short at the New York Movie Awards, and the Special Jury Award at the Los Angeles Film Awards.[5]
She plays Camille Maes in the upcoming WW1 film The Last Front, starring opposite Iain Glen, Sasha Luss, and Joe Anderson. The film is currently in the final stages of post-production.[6]
