Badriya is a small village of 2555 hectares in Sardarshahar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Badriya depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Badriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Badriya's pin code is 331411[4], and village code is 00608800. The workforce is 509 male, 476 female with 367 (37.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 219 males and 148 females. 185 males and 133 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 618 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SARDARSHAHAR and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
